Healthy Non Alcoholic Drinks For Wedding Reception

Healthy Non Alcoholic Drinks For Wedding Reception

Alcoholic drinks are not mandatory at wedding receptions, at all. And, they don’t have to be the only option.

You can choose to serve healthy non alcoholic alternatives on top of your alcoholic drink options, which would give your guests more options to choose from, and it will ensure everyone has something delicious to drink at your wedding reception. Serving alcohol and offering alcoholic options at a wedding is a standard, but if you have healthy non alcoholic drinks as well, you can accommodate guests of all ages, pregnant guests, or those who can’t/don’t want to drink alcohol - it’s important to keep every wedding guest in mind when making your wedding food and drink menu.

It's also a great idea to add healthier options to your list of wedding drinks, since alcohol is usually very calorie heavy, especially those delicious cocktails.

There are a lot of healthy non alcoholic drinks that are perfect for wedding receptions. So, I’m sharing a roundup of healthy non alcoholic drinks you can think about while you’re doing the wedding planning, that will allow minor, non-drinking, and health-conscious guests to join in on the fun.

So, let’s get into some healthier alternatives for alcohol! These are great to be served to all of your guests - guests of all ages, pregnant guests, those who don’t drink alcohol, those who want something non-alcoholic in between their alcoholic drinks, etc.

Iced Tea

Iced tea is an amazing option for an alcohol free beverage. They’re super delicious, refreshing, and you can make tons of different flavors (lemon, peach, strawberry, watermelon, etc.).

If you want something similar to an alcoholic beverage like a cocktail, iced tea is a great alcohol free alternative.

You can serve them in glass bottles or jars. That’s especially a cute idea if you’ll have a brunch reception, as iced tea is great for brunch, but they work no matter what time of day your reception is held at.

Fruit Slushies

Fruit slushies will be very popular if you decide to serve them on your big day, without a doubt. All of your guests will love them, but especially the younger guests.

If you don’t know what slushies are, they are basically drinks with smashed ice - you add the fruit and ice to a blender, and blend until you reach a wanted consistency.

You can add other things to it to make them taste better (lemon juice, orange juice, mint, etc.), and the possibilities with fruit slushies are endless, since you can use basically any fruit and any add-on to make a slushie.

If you decide to serve them, you can make a slushie bar!

Have the fruit and add-ons all laid out, and let your guests choose what they want in their slushie, and have the bartender make it in front of them. They’ll be thrilled they can customize them to their liking, and you’re making your job easier by not having to come up with combinations. Plus, this way, you know the slushies will be to everyone’s liking, since they’re the ones choosing what goes in them.

These would be amazing if you’re having a summer wedding. There’s nothing better than a drink with smashed ice on a hot summer day!
