For most of my 20’s my weight was very stable and I didn’t think much about it. Enter 2020, Covid, hitting 30, and by summer 2021 I had put on about 30 pounds. I tried to lose weight on my own, but I decided I needed to get serious. Enter Best Body. I joined because I thought the meal plans looked amazing, but what quickly became the most important element was the mindset coaching. For the first time in my life I realized that many aspects of my relationship with food were around comfort and boredom, rather than around hunger and satiety. Listening to the coaching calls and modules has taught me about breathing through urges, comforting myself without food, listening to my hunger and fullness cues, reframing my thoughts, consistency, and how my weight fluctuates with my menstrual cycle. Most importantly, it has taught me I’m not alone. Today I hit my first goal of losing 15 pounds, and I’m thrilled! I’ve gone on vacations, celebrated birthdays, gone out to dinners and coffees with friends and my partner, traveled to weddings, had many a pizza night - in other words, I’ve lived my life, and I’ve learned how to do it while losing and maintaining weight successfully.


This past weekend I enjoyed ice cream on Friday, a wedding dinner (plus cake, of course!) on Saturday, and fast food on Sunday. Then I stepped on the scale on Monday to see…the lowest number yet since starting Best Body. Weekend eating used to trip me up, but the mindset work I learned in this program has helped me enjoy the worth-it foods I like while staying within my calorie goal. I’m really grateful for this program and I’m so happy with the progress I’ve made!

I just joined Best Body 2 days ago, and I’ve already noticed a difference in my mindset. I’m excited to share I’m 6 weeks pregnant after trying to conceive for more than 2 years. I'm in love with this program. I do Cross FIt 5x a week, so my biggest worry was not having enough energy to continue training.
