10 Wedding Snack Ideas
Wedding food is one of the most important parts of planning your big day. Keeping your guests full will make them happy and satisfied throughout your wedding, which will mean that everyone will have a great time.
The main meals always get the most attention (and that makes sense, of course), but snacks are also an important part of it, and you shouldn’t overlook them during the planning process.
Having snacks can help you and your guests’ dining experience for the day, and it can help ensure that if they get hungry from all of the dancing, they have something to snack on to get their strength back.
The best way to ensure all of your guests are having a great time, is to treat them with delicious snacks they can grab when they get hungry again - your guests will love having snacks available for them, especially those late-night snacks that they start craving after so much time spent on the dance floor.
So in this post, I’m sharing some great snack ideas you can provide for your guests. Whether you want to serve these snacks as night wedding snacks, or you want to have them available even sooner, your guests will love all of these.
10 Wedding Snack Ideas
Mini tacos
Who doesn’t love tacos, right? And when you make them bite-sized, they’re even better! The great thing about mini tacos is that you can provide different versions of them (with beef, chicken, shrimp, veggie ones, etc.), so everyone can find the ones they like.
Plus, you can provide different toppings, so your guests can choose the ones they love the most, and therefore have the perfect late-night snack.
Pizza
Okay, is there anything better after a whole day of dancing (and probably drinking), than pizza? If you’re looking for a night snack idea to serve at your wedding, pizza might be the most simple, yet most delicious option you can come up with.
I can’t imagine anyone not being thrilled when they see pizza after so much dancing and enjoying fun drinks.
You can also provide different pizza options, so all of your guests can find the one they like the most - cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, mushroom pizza, vegan pizza (if you have vegan guests), and so on.
French fries
Another classic, yet another snack option everyone will be thrilled with! French fries are the ultimate snack idea, especially when you pair them with a dipping sauce, or maybe even place them next to some mini burgers or sliders.
For the dipping sauce, you can do ranch, mayo, ketchup, burger sauce, and any other popular sauce you can think of, so your guests can find their favorite flavor.
While fast food might not be the most traditional wedding food, no one will be opposed to seeing french fries as a snack option.
Grilled cheese and tomato soup
This might not be a traditional snack option, but it’s a unique one your guests will love! Tomato soup and grilled cheese go so well together, and to serve them as a snack, simply put tomato soup in mini cups, and cut the grilled cheese into strips. Then, serve them as a pair - a tomato cup along with a grilled cheese stick. That way your guests can dip the grilled cheese stick into the tomato soup cup.
This is especially a good idea for a winter wedding, since your guests might enjoy something cozy as a snack.
Ice cream sandwiches
If you want to satisfy the sweet tooth of your guests with some snacks (okay, your wedding cake will likely do the job, but they might want something sweet to snack on as well), having ice cream sandwiches is a great idea.
You can provide different flavors - chocolate chip, vanilla, caramel, etc.
This is especially a good idea for a summer wedding when your guests will need help cooling down from all of the dancing.
Mini hot dogs
Mini hot dogs are another great option, especially as a late-night snack. You can provide different condiments and toppings, so each guest can pick their favorite way of eating their mini hot dogs, and therefore everyone can have the perfect snack.
Soft pretzels and popcorn
A snack bar with soft pretzels and popcorn is a great idea for mini snacks everyone can munch on while dancing. A popcorn bar is especially popular among kids, but adding soft pretzels and maybe a cheese sauce as a dipping sauce will be a hit as well.
Corn dogs
Corn dogs aren’t typical for a wedding, but if you want a fun snack option, why not serve some corn dogs will ketchup and mustard as condiment options?
Sliders
Sliders can work as appetizers, but they’re also the perfect snack option. What makes them so great is that they’re small, so they’re easy to grab and snack on when you’re hungry, but they’re also so easy to customize and tailor to people’s liking. You can easily provide different types of sliders, to fit your guests' preferences. You can serve pizza sliders, chicken sliders, ham & cheese sliders, veggie sliders, and so much more.
Noodles
This definitely isn’t a traditional wedding food, but Asian-style noodles, served in single-serving snack-sized boxes, can be such a fun and unique late-night snack that your guests will definitely love!
