8 Spa Water Recipes
Spa water is the latest trend on TikTok, and for a good reason! If you don’t know what it is, it’s basically just water infused with fruit, vegetable, and herbs. The fruit infuses the water with flavor and with color, so it makes it tasty and nutritious.
It’s so good for you, plus it’s easy & fun to make at home! While regular, plain water is, of course, amazing, and you should drink enough of it, spa water brings more flavor and some extra nutrients.
But not only is it delicious, many recipes actually have health benefits, weight loss benefits, and wellness benefits, too. It can help with inflammation, bloating, helps you have healthy and clear skin, helps detox your liver, improves digestion, and so on.
Another reason why spa water is great, is that lots of people want to drink more water but they struggle with it because they don’t like it. So, drinking infused water might be easier for them, as it’s essentially flavored water, but it’s flavored in a healthy way.
8 Spa Water Recipes
First, let’s cover some tips and tricks for making spa water.
Let’s get into actual spa water recipes!
Eat the fruit after infusing the water (when you drink the water) to get all of the nutrients and minerals - however, the longer the fruit has been in the water, the less will it have a good taste, as it’s giving the flavor to the water
The longer the water has been infusing, the better it will taste - so do it overnight if possible
Any fruit can work well - citrus fruits, berries, anything
For veggies, you’ll probably mostly use cucumbers, but some other veggies can work as well
You can infuse the water in a pitcher and keep it in your fridge, or you can get a water bottle and infuse it in the bottle directly
If you want cold water, keep it in the fridge in between drinking, and not at room temperature
