10 Wedding Mocktails
In case you’re not familiar with the term, mocktails are cocktails without any alcohol in them.
While the more typical choice is to just have regular cocktails at your wedding open bar, along with juice and other non-alcoholic beverages, I think including mocktails can be a really great idea. Not everyone drinks or likes alcoholic drinks, so having more options is great.
It helps you make sure all of your guests feel included and accommodated: non-drinkers, sober people, kids, etc.
What Is A Mocktail?
As mentioned, mocktails are cocktails without alcohol. Mocktails are definitely more fun and unique than regular juice, so people who don’t drink alcohol will love the option to have a super fun and unique drink, without needing to drink alcohol, and they won’t be limited to plan and regular drinks, such as store-bough apple juice or Coca Cola.
This also gives you more beverage options to serve on your big day, and you can have a signature mocktail as well.
In this post, I’m sharing a round-up of mocktails that can keep your wedding guests refreshed, happy, and hydrated.
10 Wedding Mocktails
Moscow Mule Mocktail
Moscow Mule is a popular cocktail made with vodka, ginger beer, and lime juice. However, it’s very easy to make a mocktail version, and it tastes just as amazing!
This non-alcoholic Moscow Mule calls for club soda instead of vodka, and has fresh lime juice, ginger beer, and simple syrup (which is 1 part water, 1 part sugar).
It’s a fun drink, a little bit spicy from the ginger beer, and you definitely don’t miss the vodka.
Virgin Mojito
One of the most refreshing cocktails ever is a mojito! So, a Virgin Mojito is an amazing idea for your big day - it will be one of your favorite wedding drinks, hands down. Regular mojito has white rum, sugar, lime juice, soda water, and mint.
It’s sweet, citrusy, refreshing, and just overall delicious. The alcohol-free version has fresh lime juice, honey simple syrup, fresh mint leaves, sparkling water, and ice. You can find that mocktail recipe here.
While the recipe does call for freshly squeezed lime juice, you can probably get away with store-bought lime juice if you want to prepare the cocktail all at once for guests, as squeezing a million limes for a wedding isn’t very doable.
The way this virgin mojito is made is by putting mint leaves in a glass, mushing them together to release the flavor, then adding honey simple syrup, and sparkling water.
All of your guests will love it.
Sunrise Grapefruit Mocktail
If you’re looking for easy wedding mocktails, this is the recipe for you. This mocktail is not only easy to make, but it’s super delicious. It calls for grapefruit juice (fruit juice gives it a fresh taste), simple syrup, club soda, and grenadine syrup. With only 4 ingredients, you wouldn’t think it’d be this delicious, but it is!
You can find the recipe here.
Lemon Drop Mocktail
If you like lemon in your cocktails, you’ll love this one! It’s so refreshing, and perfect for summer weddings, but it works all year round.
The alcoholic version of the Lemon Drop mocktail is the Lemon Drop martini, which includes vodka.
This delicious mocktail recipe calls for lemon juice (obviously), simple syrup, chilled club soda, and sugar (and ice, of course). It looks the best in a martini glass, but feel free to do whatever you think flows with your wedding theme.
You can find the recipe here.
Cosmo Mocktail
One of the best mocktails you can serve at your wedding reception is this cosmo mocktail. It calls for cranberry juice, sparkling water, orange extract, lime juice, lime slice, and ice. The color is bright red, which looks super cool, and if red fits your wedding color scheme - even better. This would be a great option no matter if you’re having a fall wedding, a summer wedding, or spring, or winter.
Pineapple Coconut Mocktail
This refreshing drink will blow everyone away. It’s one of my favorite mocktails to make, and whenever I serve it to guests, they all love it! Let’s see how to make it.
Ingredients
1 cup of pineapple juice
½ cup of coconut milk
¼ cup of lime juice
1 tbsp honey or agave syrup
½ cup of sparkling water (you can sub this for coconut water instead)
ice cubes
Instructions
Step 1: Get a shaker or a blender, and add in pineapple juice, coconut milk, lime juice, and honey or agave syrup.
Step 2: Shake or blend until smooth.
Step 3: Pour the mixture into a glass filled with ice cubes and top with sparkling water.
Strawberry Basil Lemonade Mocktail
If you’re having a summer wedding, a Strawberry Basil Lemonade mocktail would sound amazing. Kids will love it, as almost all kids love lemonade and strawberries, but adults will be blown away by how tasty it is as well! Plus, it’s actually healthy!
Ingredients
1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice
½ cup of fresh strawberries, chopped
¼ cup of fresh basil leaves
¼ cup of honey or agave syrup
3 cups of cold water
ice cubes
Instructions
Step 1: In a blender, combine lemon juice, strawberries, basil leaves, and honey or agave syrup.
Step 2: Blend until smooth.
Step 3: Strain the mixture into a pitcher and stir in cold water.
Step 4: Serve over ice, and garnish to your liking.
Blackberry Mint Mocktail
Another healthy, delicious, and refreshing mocktail you can serve for your guests is this blackberry mocktail. The flavor is unique, and the color is very cool. You can serve them in any cocktail glass you wish.

¼ cup fresh mint leaves

ice cubes

Step 1: Get a blender, and mix in blackberries, mint, lime juice, and honey or agave syrup.
Step 2: Blend until smooth.
Step 3: Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice cubes and top it with sparkling water. Garnish it to your liking.
Peach Basil Fizz Mocktail
Peach and basil are a great combo, and when you add citrusy lime juice to that flavor combo, as well as honey or agave syrup for sweetness, you get a delicious and even healthy mocktail! That’s why it’s a great choice for kids, as their parents might be happy that their kids are getting not only a delicious drink, and can “drink a cocktail” with adults, but that drink is also good for them!
Ingredients
1 cup peach nectar
½ cup fresh basil leaves
¼ cup lime juice
2 tbsp honey or agave syrup
½ cup sparkling water
ice cubes
